Questions & clarity

A good invitation
welcomes questions.

Your time, work and trust matter. These answers set the starting point; the details of a contribution should be discussed and agreed individually.

Who is this website for?

Adults who can help create, enable, support or guide Storyteller Sessions. The intended beneficiaries are children, beginning with early readers; the audience for each session should be discussed.

Can I begin with one contribution?

Yes. A reading, a defined creative brief, focused advice or an introduction can be a first step. Continuing involvement is optional.

How much time is needed?

There is no universal time estimate. Preparation, recording or work time, reviews and follow-up should be explained for your particular contribution.

How are stories and contributors selected?

The aim is to consider creative fit, the intended audience, permissions and cultural context. Those decisions and the project’s readiness should be discussed before a session is agreed.

How will my recording, name or work be used?

Specific permissions, territory, duration, distribution, credit, approval and any adaptation should be agreed before work. Do not assume that an introductory conversation grants permission.

Is participation paid or donated?

This invitation does not establish compensation terms. Paid, donated or in-kind contributions need a specific agreement.

What about child safety and privacy?

Any activity involving children needs appropriate safeguarding, supervision, consent and privacy arrangements established in advance. This site collects no children’s information and has no registration or upload service.

Is there a live app or story library?

No live platform or catalog is offered here. Interactive reading, language choices and a broader library are longer-term possibilities.

Is Storyteller Sessions currently a tax-exempt nonprofit?

No current nonprofit or tax-deductibility status is represented on this site. Ask for verified organizational information and the proposed funding arrangement before providing financial support.

What information should I send?

A short note with your name, professional role, interests and a possible contribution is enough to begin. Please do not send children’s personal information, private records or material you do not have permission to share.
